Shared Content Files

Header and footer files have special names beginning "_ssitop" and "_ssitail".  The files for this demo are named "_ssitop1.htm" and "_ssitail1.htm."

Basic Layout

The LGS Webedit controls are located above the FCKeditor controls.  LGS Webedit controls deal with opening, saving, deleting and renaming files, the setting of web file attributes (such as the page title), and setting the "Header" and "Footer" files.

The FCKeditor controls (mostly icons) are located below the LGS Webedit controls, on a colored background.  They control the creation of html. For more information, see the FCKeditor user's guide. Read more »

Installation

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Linux/Unix web server
  2. Tested only on Apache2
  3. PHP 4+
  4. SSI (server side includes) if you want to use shared "Header" or "footer" files.
